Known about all these before this video. However it only just struck me now that they costumed Tom in Civil War to wear the same colour hoodie over the same colour shirt when Tony visits him and Aunt May… so maybe they had already decided by that time that the little boy was a young Peter…?

Final Skyscraper Trailer Pushes The Rock to the Ultimate Limit

It’s a long way down from 3500 feet, so it’s best not to look. Global icon Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of Legendary’s Skyscraper as former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer, who now assesses security for skyscrapers.

On assignment in China he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it.  A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who is trapped inside the building…above the fire line.

Written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, We’re the Millers), the 3D action-thriller is produced by Beau Flynn (San Andreas, Baywatch), Johnson, Thurber and Hiram Garcia (San Andreas, Central Intelligence).

Skyscraper‘s executive producers are Dany Garcia (Baywatch, Ballers), Wendy Jacobson (San Andreas), Eric McLeod (Kong: Skull Island, Pirates of the Caribbean series) and Eric Hedayat (The Great Wall, Real Steel).  The film will be released by Universal Pictures.

Dwayne Johnson is joined by Neve Campbell, Chin Han, Noah Taylor, Roland Møller, Byron Mann, Pablo Schreiber and Hannah Quinlivan. You can get your tickets now at skyscrapermovie.com. The movie hits theaters on July 13.

Venom Weird Trailer Goes Insanely Off the Rails

Venom Weird Trailer Goes Insanely Off the Rails

For a lot of Marvel fans, the Venom promotional spots have been lacking in the symbiote department and even more fans are realizing how weird Tom Hardy’s voice is. All of the unpopular pieces of the Venom trailers and teasers have now been compiled into one giant Weird Trailer, and it’s awesome. Ace Ventura, Tobey Maguire, Joe Pesci, Drax the Destroyer, and many more characters take the Spider-Man universe and twist it up into a mind boggling experience. If you didn’t like any of the previous Venom trailers, this one might be the one for you.

Tom Hardy and Riz Ahmed share some awkward silence in the new Venom weird trailer, and while it’s not as over the top and silly as the rest of the video, it seems to work. At least it does until Ahmed reaches up to boop Hardy on the nose with his finger. Elsewhere, Hardy’s Eddie Brock starts to hum the Indiana Jones theme song and then gets an attacker to harmonize with him in a bit that goes on way longer than it should. This is by far the most bizarre of all of the Weird Trailers that have been released so far.

In addition to the Venom Weird Trailer, the creator has also taken to making Infinity War, Rogue One, and a few others. The trailers are all edited to include pop culture references as well as other tidbits that correspond, or don’t, with the original film. Ace Ventura opening a closing the sliding glass door seems to fit in perfectly while the symbiote is unveiled, but where did he come from?. It’s worth noting that the roughly 3-minute Venom trailer is by far the most crazy one that has been released by the YouTube channel, which is saying something.

For all of the MCU fans wishing to see Venom in a future project, Eddie Brock and Drax the Destroyer have some interesting discussions in the Weird Trailer and Ebony Maw from Infinity War even makes an appearance while wearing a blonde wig. While Venom won’t be appearing in the MCU any time soon, it’s good to know that he and Drax already have a good relationship, even when Drax is attempting to be invisible. This weird trailer is something that had to come out of the mind of a madman.

The real Venom movie will hit theaters on October 5th and it will be one hell of a ride, but it cannot compare with the latest weird trailer. While some fans seem to be worried about the footage that has been released so far, the latest real Venom trailer has gone on to calm some of those skeptical fans down. Additionally, Sony is taking the Spider-Man spin-off movies very seriously, which means that we will more than likely see a sequel as well as many more of the spin-off movies. While we wait to see Venom on the big screen, you can check out the Weird Trailer below, thanks to the Aldo Jones YouTube channel. As a warning, there are a few NSFW moments.

Summer of 84 Trailer Turns The Goonies Into a Slasher Thriller

Summer of 84 Trailer Turns The Goonies Into a Slasher Thriller

If you love Stranger Things, The Goonies, The ‘Burbs, Rear Window and Disturbia, then you’re going to love Summer of 84, as it pulls all these classic VHS tapes off the shelf and shoves them into a blender, pushing puree. This looks like a fun nostalgia bump, which will have you yearning for kids on milk cartons. And it’s coming our way this summer.

Summer of 84 looks like a good blast of scary fun. It comes from the team responsible for Turbo Kid. The collective calls itself RKSS, getting a directorial credit under that moniker, which stands for Roadkill Superstar. RKSS is actually made up of Rançois Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell, who may or may not actually be real, living breathing people.

The movie is written by Matt Leslie & Stephen J. Smith. The ensemble cast is made up of young up and coming actors that include Graham Verchere, Judah Lewis, Caleb Emery, Cory Gruter-Andrew and Tiera Skovbye, with Mad Men star Rich Sommer as the cop suspected of murder. Here is the official synopsis.

“Summer, 1984: The perfect time to be 15 years old and care free. But when neighborhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong begins to suspect his police officer neighbor might be the serial killer all over the local news, he and his three best friends begin an investigation that soon turns dangerous.”

Summer of 84 will hit theaters on August 10. And it’s sure to encourage plenty of kids to launch their own murder investigations in town. At the very least, it looks inspiring in all the right ways. Summer of 84 has already played Sundance. There it was met with mixed reviews. Many people compared it to Stranger Things, which itself is a culmination of every great movie from the 80s.

With a title like Summer of 84 you can guess that the movie is treading well on that era, and borrowing probably every throwback in the book. Cory Grüter-Andrew who plays one of the teen investigators, had this to say about the movie to frightfind.com

“It’s going to be a great film. The Summer of ’84 is pretty explanatory by the title. These four boys all live in a neighborhood cul-de-sac. They each have a suspicion that their neighbor, Wayne Mackey, who is also a police officer, might be a serial killer. This prompts an investigation from the four boys into his private life and they start to dig in. The film really has a Stand By Me or maybe a Goonies feel. Stranger Things is set in the 80s as well. However, Summer of ’84 deals with more real-life events. There’s nothing like the “Upside Down” or anything like that. They’re dealing with a real serial killer. I think it’s a bit more grounded in reality whereas Stranger Things is definitely more sci-fi horror.”

You can check out the first trailer and poster for Summer of 84 courtesy of Gunpowder & Sky. It sure looks like a fun summer romp, and will be perfect to tide some fans over until Stranger Things Season 3 premieres next year.
