Adele Gets Emotional During George Michael Tribute at the Grammys (Video)

While performing a tribute song to the late George Michael at the 2017 Grammys, Adele  was forced to stop her performance after getting to emotional. Adele, clearly emotional, referred back to her technical difficulties during the previous year’s ceremony.

“I know it’s live TV, I’m sorry for swearing, and I’m sorry for starting again,” Adele addressed Sunday night’s audience after stopping her tribute performance to George Michael. Adele was performing a cover version of George Michael hit song “Fastlove.”

After a addressing the audience, Adele began the performance from the top while an assemble of pictures and videos of Michael performing over the years flashed behind her.

Adele once again broke down into tears in an incredibly emotional moment – as she hit the final notes of her performance. The entire crowd was emotional, including Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez who were clearly brought to tears.
