In this week’s episode of the Real Housewives of New York City, we saw a lot of emotion when it came to Bethenny Frankel speaking about her past, reconnecting with her father, and opening up about her ongoing adjustments to her new life. In her Bravo Blog this week, she talks about what that was like, and how she actually is happy to be back on the TV screen.

“Freud would have a field day with the fact that I’ve procrastinated writing this blog.
Tonight is different. Overall, there is a conversation about time spent with children. Pretty may be smarter than I think but not quite smart enough to realize that I’m going through a divorce, and my precious moments are divided. My balance as a mother and business person is knowing that I spend every moment possible with my daughter.

The one thing that is said universally is that it goes by so quickly. I may have made some money, but I am not “nannied” up, and I don’t go out with girlfriends when I can be with my child. “Child care” doesn’t get me more time with my angel. As I said about the conversation with Luann, this is the easiest decision I will ever have to make.

I can talk about the clown or about the ladies, but I gather that you want me to talk about the scene with my stepfather.

It has been a long time coming, and as I wrote in A Place of Yes, I don’t wear my story. I, genuinely, am not angry. I think I have longed for a person to discuss the craziness of my past with. I’m an only child and essentially an orphan, so there is no one I can turn or talk to that can acknowledge what I remember to be true. I do think that people do their best; all I can do is pay it forward by being the best mother to my daughter that I can possibly be.

We all have our stuff. I do have to take a moment and acknowledge something that recently happened. Ramona reached out to me to say how sorry she is about something that occurred between us in the past. She had relived a moment, and it triggered something in her.
I really am happy to be back. Some of the stuff I have experienced in the past few years is much worse than my past. I am using this experience for good, and I am enjoying being on this journey with you. We have been through so much together since the beginning, and I know there are many puzzle pieces missing.

Like Dorinda says, I’m an onion with many layers. We all are. Thanks for all the love. You are loving it, and so are we. If you love what you do, you’ll be good at it. That’s why The Real Housewives of New York City are back and better than ever.”

Bethenny Frankel Confirms Return For RHONY Season 10

We pretty much were not expecting Bethenny Frankel return for another season of The Real Housewives of New York City, but in a new interview the Bravo star confirms she will be back.

“I think I will probably be back, to be honest,” she shared. “I mean, I don’t play that game where I pretend I’m not coming back. Bravo’s a great partner, the show has been great to me and vice versa and, I mean, you know, it’s a good gig and I’m lucky to have it.”

Frankel also shared her thoughts about her experience on Shark Tank, and gave advice for those who want to open businesses.

“You have to be focused if you really want to be an entrepreneur,” Frankel expressed. “You have to be focused. I would say to myself, pick one thing and do it really well rather than grabbing at straws everywhere. But, you know, you have to go through it. I don’t know if I would’ve listened. You have to just go through it and you gotta stick to your idea.”

Bethenny also opened up about having her skin cancer removed and what’s happening with that situation.

“I’m OK, it’s here. There’s a mark that I had removed,” Frankel told ET. “I had to have it tested … So now I have to get what’s called a Mohs procedure and have it removed. And then a plastic surgeon, close up, so it’s not great and I do wear some protection and I do wear hats. But it’s, you know, it’s scary. It’s kinda, you hear the word cancer in any form and it makes you nervous. But I am OK, totally OK.”

Are you happy to hear Bethenny will be back for another season?

RHONY Star Luann de Lesseps Still Texts Ex-Husband Tom D’Agostino

Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps may be getting divorced from her ex-husband Tom D’Agostino, but that doesn’t mean they still don’t talk to each other.

“They text and talk to each other, but it’s not super in depth,” an insider tells US Weekly. “They’re just checking in.”

Certainly interesting, but it’s nice to see civility. What do you think?
