Bill Paxton Dead at 61
Bill Paxton has died at the age of 61 on Saturday due to complications from heart surgery which ultimately lead to a fatal stroke.
Paxton was famous for his roles in hit movies such as “Twister,” “Titanic,” and of course “Aliens.” Bill Paxton had been featured on the CBS tv show “Training Day,” during the time of his death.
Bill Paxton’s family released the following statement earlier today:
“It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery.” The family correctly describes his “illustrious career spanning four decades as a beloved and prolific actor and filmmaker.”
The family continues, “Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable.”
