Bully Ray On How Fast ROH Contacted D-Von And Himself After WWE Run, Being ‘Bully Ray’ Again, More

Bully Ray spoke with A Music Blog, Yea? (AMBY) on a number of wrestling topics.

Who always entertains him:

“There’s entirely too many to mention, there are a lot of wrestlers [or] entertainers out there today. I mean in the Ring of Honor locker room alone, man, you can’t even pick one, [Christopher] Daniels, [Frankie] Kazarian, [and] Jay Lethal is like the master of all trades who can do anything.”

Being “Bully Ray” again:

“It does feel good to be Bully Ray again, because I believe it’s what the fan want to see. People have been telling me since I created Bully Ray like six years ago, this is the side of me they like the best. Going back to WWE with D-Von and having our final run there as The Dudleys was a lot of fun, we went all over the world, we had a blast. But I know from the fan’s perspective it’s not exactly what they wanted. So, I’m happy to be able to come out here with Ring of Honor and be the version of myself that I enjoy the most and that the fans enjoy the most.”

ROH contacting The Dudleys once their WWE contracts expired after their latest run:

“Yeah, Ring of Honor did contact me and D-Von a day after our WWE contracts expired and they wanted me and D-Von to come in and work there. We were very interested, D-Von has a larger family, D-Von wanted to take a step back for a little while, so I said, ‘Bro, you do what you gotta do and I’m gonna keep doin’ what I do’ and that was it. I always knew Ring of Honor and Bully Ray would be a perfect fit.”

MAJOR news about Brock Lesnar’s future

Whilst rumours about Brock Lesnar being involved with the Rocky franchise remain unconfirmed, we can exclusively confirm that Brock Lesnar hired an acting agent several months ago. However, Brock is only in search of 1-2 “major” roles, solely so his kids can see him on the big screen.

Our sources have informed us that when Paul Heyman was asked if Brock’s future lies with the UFC or WWE, Heyman was uncommitted, however, he categorically stated that Brock would like to follow in the footsteps on Batista and secure a major film role, so that his children can see him on the big screen, as they do not watch WWE.

Brock is not interested in a big movie career like The Rock and he is also not interested in doing any TV roles or anything with WWE films. He has simply secured representation to put out feelers for “something big” in the movie industry.

Brock’s current WWE deal ends at WrestleMania 34 and it’s believed he is unlikely to stay with the WWE falling $20m short of their targeted profit this year.

John Cena was the center of a Q&A session today at the Library of Congress … but instead of answering questions from bloggers, he was grilled by a roomful of adorable children.

Cena was on-hand to promote his new movie Ferdinand by reading the book to all of the kids in attendance, as well as everyone watching online, then fielded questions from the crowd.

Nothing earth shattering was revealed, but the 16-time champ was a true pro while listening to all of the young children and giving answers they’d understand.
