Eva Marie Announces Official Departure From WWE

The era of “All Red Everything” is over … because Eva Marie has announced her WWE departure.

Marie tweeted on Friday saying, “Today I’m saying a bittersweet goodbye to @WWE. Thanks to the entire team, and YOU, my fans, for these 4 years!”

As we previously reported, the writing was on the wall once producers began looking for her Total Divas replacement and, even though it had been assumed she was leaving, now it’s official.

No word on why she waited so long to announce her exit, but it appears like the now-former wrestler was just sitting out the rest of her contract.

Eva signed off with the hashtag #AllRedEverythingForever.

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan Announce New Tag Team Name (VIDEO)

harper rowan return smackdown live new tag team name video

After weeks of being absent, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan finally re-appeared on SmackDown Live this week — and the team announced their new name in a backstage vignette.

Luke and Erick appeared in a dark room wearing gear that didn’t look too much different than their usual attire and proceeded to cut a promo while wielding giant mallets. They ended by saying: “Broken bones. Severed spines. Harper. Rowan. BLUDGEON BROTHERS!”

As we first reported on Wrestling Sheet Radio back in August, the team had only been off TV as of late to prep for a slight repackage.

No word on when they’ll return to the ring on SmackDown Live.

Jimmy Jacobs No Longer Working For WWE Following Bullet Club Invasion Photo-Op

jimmy jacobs fired let go released wwe bullet club invasion

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Jimmy Jacobs is no longer working at WWE and the final straw seems to have been a picture he recently took with Bullet Club outside of Raw.

Sources say the backstage producer made his exit last week, but we’ve been unable to confirm if he was released or not. We are told, however, that there was major heat on Jimmy for posting an Instagram picture of himself meeting with BC while they filmed Being the Elite last month (seen below).

As we previously reported, WWE officials were much angrier than anybody expected after Bullet Club’s “invasion” and it lead to them sending The Young Bucks a legal letter.

A rep for WWE had no comment.
