Former Packer Ahman Green arrested on suspicion of child abuse

Former Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green was arrested in Wisconsin on suspicion of child abuse , the Green Bay Press Gazette reported Monday morning.

The Brown County sheriff’s office confirmed to the paper that it was investigating the case but did not provide any further details.

Green, a four-time Pro Bowler who last played in 2009, is the top rusher in Packers history and a member of the team’s Hall of Fame after rushing for 8,322 yards over eight seasons. He also played for the Seahawks and Texans.

Green is still very visible in the Green Bay area, having once owned part of indoor football’s Green Bay Blizzard and maintaining a consistent schedule of public appearances.

NFLPA Fires Back At NFL: They’re Liars & Hypocrites

Breaking News

The NFL Players Association is firing back at the NFL for its recent statement on the Zeke Elliott case … calling them hypocrites and liars who should be ashamed for “stooping to new lows.”

The scathing statement is in direct response to NFL’s release on Wednesday … where they accused the PA of “spreading derogatory information to the media about the victim in the Ezekiel Elliott discipline case.”

The Players Association released the following statement.

“The public statement issued on behalf of every NFL owner is a lie. The NFLPA categorically denies the accusations made in this statement. We know the league office has a history of being exposed for its lack of credibility.”

“This is another example of the NFL’s hypocrisy on display and an attempt to create a sideshow to distract from their own failings in dealing with such serious issues. They should be ashamed for stooping to new lows.”

Odell Beckham Jr. Hits the Beach in Cancun with Girlfriend Polyxeni Ferfeli

Odell Beckham Jr. is going to training camp soon, and it looks like he’s getting a head start by treading water with some very hot weight bogging him down.

The New York Giants wide receiver hit the beach in Cancun, Mexico Saturday with girlfriend Polyxeni Ferfeli. They’ve been dating since April and possibly longer … they’ve kind of kept it on the down low.

Odell’s entering his 4th season with the team … so it stands to reason he gets a big hug for good luck!

Cowboys LB Arrested for Assault with Deadly Weapon (Update: Allegedly Brandished Rifle)

12:36 PM PTTMZ Sports has obtained the police report which shows Wilson allegedly intentionally backed his truck into a female while parking and then brandished a rifle at another man.

The situation seems to have been set off due to a parking dispute.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Damien Wilson was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at a 4th of July fireworks event in Dallas … cops say.

Officials say the 24-year-old was taken into custody at Toyota Stadium, where the MLS soccer team FC Dallas had played a game earlier in the day. It was followed by a fireworks show.

Wilson has been charged with 2 counts of felony aggravated assault. If convicted, he faces 20 years in prison on each count — 40 years total.

The details of the alleged assault are still unclear. We’re working on it. The arrest was first reported by FOX 4.

He’s since been released from custody after posting $20,000 bond.

Wilson was a 4th round pick out of Minnesota in the 2015 Draft. He played in all 16 regular season games for the Cowboys during both years he’s been in the league.
