Hulk Hogan Scandal and Everything You Need To Know

Published

on

Twitter has blown up, all regarding recent controversies surrounding WWE legend or shall we say former WWE legend Hulk Hogan. Radar Online released this morning transcripts from a racist conversation between Hulk Hogan and Bubba the Love Sponge’s former wife Heather Clem’s about Hulks daughter dating a black man.

These names may sound familiar to you as just over a year ago a sex tape was released on gawker featuring Hulk Hogan banging his best friends wife. Since then Hulk Hogan has sued Gawker in a lawsuit that if he won would surely put gawker out of business. Hulk Hogan has responded to TMZ.com about this recent released Racist Conversation between him and his fling.

“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it.”

The language that is being referred to here is beyond racist in my opinion and it comes to no surprise that not only has WWE released/fired Hulk Hogan from his WWE contract but the WWE has also removed all mention of Hulk Hogan from all of their websites. On top of this the WWE has removed all merchandise regarding Hulk Hogan, fired Hogan from his Tough Enough TV gig on the USA Network and have informed all of their license merchandisers that all future and current Hulk Hogan products must be pulled immediately.

The langue in question is the following from a tape recorded featuring Hulk Hogan and Heather having a very racist conversation.

“I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f**king n**gers.” Hulk continues, “I mean I’d rather if she was going to f**k some n**ger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot tall n**ger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player.”

It looks like things have just gotten worse for the Hulkster, after a nasty divorce that left him with half his money, Hulk Hogan’s restaurant….that he personally owns…. has decided to pull away from the Hulk Hogan name due to the recent controversy.

Hulk Hogan continues his apology on TMZ … “I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs. It is not who I am. I continue to work every day to improve as a person, and this matter is an important learning experience for me in that regard.”

Several former and current WWE wrestlers have responded to the Hulk Hogan Racist Controversy on twitter this morning, below are some of their tweets including ones from Daniel Bryan and Booker T.

What do you guys think about this recent controversy? Is the World Wrestling Entertainment doing the right thing by pulling Hulk Hogan from well everything and firing him? Let us know in the comment section below!

Chyna’s Ex-Manager Launches GoFundMe for Cemetery Plot

On the two-year anniversary of her death, Chyna‘s ex-manager launched a GoFundMe page in an attempt to buy the wrestler a plot in Hollywood Forever Cemetery beside Judy Garland.

Anthony Anzaldo‘s GoFundMe reads:

I have had the honor of sharing my home with Chyna’s urn for the past two years.  Friday, April 20 is the 2 year anniversary of her passing. However, I think the time has come for all of her fans to be able to come and visit her.  I would like to place her urn and lay her to rest in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood, CA., I really think she would love it there.  There are several celebrities buried there and placing her right next to Judy Garland would make Chyna happy I’m sure.  She Loved The Wizard Of Oz.

He continued:

To be clear, 1/2 of Chyna’s ashes were laid to rest 3 miles due west in the Pacific Ocean off of Esplanade and Avenue A in Redondo Beach. 1/4 was given to her Mother and in this urn is another 1/4 of Chyna’s ashes.  I am raising only the money to buy the plot and get the chapel for a 1 hour memorial.  I would like to have this take place as soon as possible within the next 45-60 days. All donations (any amount) graciously accepted.  This burial spot will be for the fans by the fans.

Chyna’s mother Jan LaQue requested for police to re-examine the death case in 2016 because she didn’t believe Anzaldo was completely honest about everything … however, nothing ever came of it.

LaQue also criticized Anzaldo last year after he blindsided her on the first anniversary with a trailer for the documentary Chyna had been filming prior to passing away (which seemed to tease the manager finding her dead body on video).

Anthony claims he needs $25,000 to pay for the plot near Judy Garland and an additional memorial.

Perks for donating are as follows:

  • $500 – T-shirt, autograph and 2 seats at Chyna’s Memorial
  • $200 – Chyna Memorial T-shirt and autographed 8×10 glossy “signed by Chyna from her last personal appearance 3 weeks prior to her passing”

We’ve reached out to Chyna’s mother for comment and will update you if she has something to say.

Davey Boy Smith Jr Wanted for Battery Incident Involving Jake Roberts

RiotWrestling.com has learned Harry Smith aka Davey Boy Smith Jr. is wanted by police in New Orleans due to an incident in which he threw coffee in Jake Roberts‘ face at WrestleCon.

A rep for the New Orleans Police Department tells us:

The NOPD is investigating a simple battery incident that occurred on April 7, 2018 in the 500 block of Canal Street. The victim told police that at about 11 a.m., he was signing autographs at the location when he was approached by a known subject, later identified as Harry Smith (DOB: 08-02-1985). The victim told police he attempted to shake hands with Smith, at which time a verbal argument ensued. Smith then allegedly threw a cup of coffee at the victim’s face and fled the scene. No major injuries were reported by the victim.

Police say the NJPW wrestler is “wanted for battery in connection with this incident” and ask that anyone with additional information contact the NOPD Eighth District detectives.

It’s worth noting, however, that Smith already admitted to the battery incident in an interview with WrestleZone.com.

The wrestler told WZ that Roberts refused to apologize for negative comments he had made about the British Bulldog (Harry’s father) and refused to step outside to settle their differences in a fight. Smith says Jake told him to “f*ck off” at that point, so he threw coffee in his face.

The penalty for a simple battery in Louisiana can be up to 6 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $1000.
