How did Verne Troyer die? This has been the question on everyone’s mind since learning about the tragic death of Austin Powers “Mini Me,” late last night.
Life and Fame exclusively revealed that Verne Troyer had spiraled into a deep depression before he died this weekend at the young age of 49.
Verne Troyer had been admitted to the hospital last week after 911 recieved a phone call from a concerned friend that Verne Troyer was ‘drunk and suicidal.”
This would be the second time this month that the Austin Powers mini actor would be admitted to the hospital for his drinking, and sadly where he would spend his last few days on earth.
Verne Troyer was on life support after being admitted to the hospital following his latest episode, however his body failed him.
An insider reveals, “His family rushed to be by his bedside but they knew that the situation was dire as he had struggled with alcoholism and had been to rehab many times before.”
The Austin Powers star was being treated for acute alcohol poisoning in his final days on earth and sadly was not able to pull through, in part due to his years of alcohol abuse.
