Since Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida has been locked away he not only has been denied access to see his children, but he also hasn’t been able to get anyone to pick up his prison phone calls!

Apollo Nida reached out to TMZ to give an update on what life is like behind bars. Apollo was recently moved from his Kentucky jail cell over to a prison in New Jersey. Surprisingly enough it is the same prison that Joe Giudice will be serving his jail sentence in a few short months.

Apollo clearly wants to see his two sons Dylan and Ayden, however after both him and Phaedra consulted a Mental Health professional… they came to the conclusion that their children might not benefit from seeing their father in an orange jump suit.

Their conclusion was drawn from the fact that their sons may be too young to handle the fact that their father is a convicted felon behind bars. While Phaedra doesn’t want to keep her children away from their father for 8 gruesome years, it may be a few more years before the children are allowed to visit Apollo.

According to Nida the only people that have been answering his phone calls are Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss. Nida revealed that not only do they stay in constant contact with him, but Kandi also sends him money for his Commissary Account! Nida was pretty shocked that Kandi would be supporting him considering she just had a falling out with his wife Phaedra Parks.
