The next season of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story will be…. centered around the 2016 election! While appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cody – Murphy revealed the theme for American Horror Story’s next season.
Hearing the theme so early in the year is oddly strange for AHS fans who usually have to wait until just weeks before it season premier to learn the theme. The previous year… the theme was so secretly guarded, that it wasn’t even known until the first episode started to air.
When Andy Cohen asked if Murphy had any news about American Horror Story that he wanted to share, Murphy replied the following:
“Well, I don’t have a title, but the season we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. So, I think that will be interesting for a lot of people.” Andy asked Murphy if there would “be, like a Trump in it,” Ryan responded, “Uh, maybe.”
Ryan is currently on a media run for his new tv show Feud: Bette and Joan, which will star Susan Sarandon (as Bette Davis) and American Horror Story’s Alumni Jessica Lange (as Joan Crawford.)
Feud: Bette and Joan will focus on the feud between the two biggest movie stars of their time, Better Davis and Joan Crawford, and more importantly what occurred during the filming of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane.
