Who Is Tinsley Mortimer? Inside Details About RHONY’s Newest Housewife

Earlier today Bravo released a very first trailer for season 9 of the Real Housewives of New York City. While this trailer may have been incredibly chaotic; it wasn’t hard to notice a fresh face on the screen.

No we aren’t talking about Jill Zarin (that wouldn’t be a fresh face) but rather the emotional Tinsley Mortimer. If you caught a glimpse of the trailer for the Real Housewives of New York City than you may have spotted Tinsley being a little… let just say over emotional.

While Tinsley Mortimer may be new to RHONY; that doesn’t mean that shes new to the big apple. Here are 5 things than you should know about Tinsley Mortimer.

Tinsley Mortimer is friends with Sonja Morgan. It’s safe to say that we can expect a little crazy in our near future from Tinsley; considering anyone that can handle being friends with Sonja must be crazy.

4She Has Her Own Home Collection

Move over Martha Stewart because Tinsley Mortimer is coming to take over.

3She Married the Same Man Twice

Tinsley’s last name Mortimer comes from her ex-husband, Topper. The two met in school and shortly eloped after high school. Their parent’s found out and forced them to get an annulment. In 2002 they got remarried in a traditional ceremony but later divorced in 2009.

2She Wrote a Book Called Southern Charm

I can see another book-gate in our near future. In 2012 Tinsley Mortimer wrote a book called Southern Charm. The book follows a “southern belle” who moves to the big apple and must adjust to the changes of living in a different part of the country/culture.
