10 Movies Parents Thought Were For Kids (And Were SO Wrong)

  1. Okay, first off, no.
    I have seen 8/10 of these films, most of which by age 10, with Sausage Party being the only one truly deserving of being here.
    The fact that you're saying parents should be wary of movies like 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'Monster House' is absurd. These are all child-friendly movies (excluding SP) and still hold up into your teen/adult years.
    Each of these movies have lessons to be learned and it's best to learn them young. Sure some of them may have creepy scenes or adult subtlety, but neither of which are harmful to a child or should be hidden from them.

    sidenote, I recommend reading the book for 'Fantastic Mr. Fox'. I read it in school as a kid before the movie and it is far more entertaining
