Saying that Chris Parker is a cinematic freak would be an understatement. When he isn't paving his way into the movie industry; Parker enjoys looking at pictures of baby tigers.... and writing of course.

  1. All those whinging about the action – Just remember the trailer for the original Blade Runner had loads of action – And were totally misleading. They focus on the action to get asses on cinema seats. Just have a bit of faith children!!

    • I think you are right. The same think happened with Arrival. The trailers were full of action explosions and F18 fly overs. The movie was a masterpiece with only 2-3 gun. So i have faith in Denis Villeneuve.

  2. this new blade runner 2049 trailer looks wicked it looks like its going to first it could best movie since john wick chapter 2 is the best action sequel of the year

  3. Why is the official Blade Runner sequel looking more and more like just another derivative, commercially slick sci-fi action thriller à la 2017 Ghost in the Shell remake?

Also, I hope Deckard's dog doesn't die in that attack scene 🙁

  4. I was optimistic at first with the firsts trailer and I'm starting to be scared… Seems like any random sci-fi action movie, all the depth and atmosphere that I enjoyed in the first seems to be missing. Hopefully this is a bad trailer, and hopefully Denis Villeneuve will do even better work than before. (plus there is this obnoxious actress from house of cards)
I have the feeling that nowadays we are running out of inspiration and movie makers are trying to get back inspiration in old license, but end up fucking them up in the end…

  5. I am a big fan of the original (having seen it over 25 times), and I will definitely see this.  But sadly, it's obvious that this will lack the depth, tone and steampunk style of the original.  Harrison Ford is iconic but, Ryan Gosling's trademarked hollow unemotional stares and uncomfortable silence will not carry the generic Hollywood Action Movie Plot Line.

  6. Omg this looks so fucking good ! Although I know it can't measure up to blade runner… and the sets look amazing just not of the world of blade runner, I wish they had kept it more Art Deco cyber punk a la the original…

  7. I'm seeing too much action on the trailers.. The original bladerunner was not about action. The original bladerunner was a flop when it premiered because of that, and it became slowly appreciated during the years. The real reason bladerunner stayed with me for a long time was not the story of the action itself, but the world that it created, which for me was it's real main character. The world was dark, dirty and real. These trailer show a much cleaner and not as dark image of that world, it doesn't feel as gritty as the previous one did, maybe because of the new cameras and tech. Even the music seems less synthetic as the previous one, it also has a more rushed feeling to it. But I hope this is only for the trailers.

  8. Why would a sequel to Blade Runner be a generic action movie? Sure, it looks visually stunning, but a follow up to a slow burning neo-noir thriller being an action movie isn't a good sign.

  9. Is it just me or did Ford's eyes look kinda shiny? I mean I know Replicants eyes tend to be a red shine. However, do Replicants even age? And did anyone get a 2012 Total Recall vibe from this trailer?
