Donald Trump has lowest approval ratings of any US president in history

Donald Trump has the lowest ever six-month approval ratings for a US President, according to a new poll.

The survey released yesterday showed just 36% of Americans thought he was doing a good job.

This was the lowest since polling started 70 years ago, with only Gerald Ford coming close to the number with 39% in February 1975.

His disapproval rating was also at a record high at 58%, according to the ABC News and The Washington Post survey.

Bill Clinton also had a high disapproval rating when he took charge in 1993 but it was still seven points lower than Trump’s after six months.

The report also found Trump’s approval rating had fallen by six points in the last three months.

People seemed to be mostly displeased with the ongoing investigation into possible ties with Russia and his campaign, his handling of healthcare and his performance when talking to world leaders.

The poll showed 67% of people asked believed members of Trump’s team had helped the Kremlin interfere in US elections and another 63% didn’t like the fact Donald Trump Jr had met with a lawyer from Russia.

Other stats from the survey revealed two-thirds of respondents did not think Trump was great at negotiating with other countries and around half felt he wasn’t getting anything done in general.

Healthcare was also a contentious point, with 50% wanting him to keep Obamacare and not make changes.

Needless to say the poll was highly partisan, with 90% of Republicans asked approving of his performance compared to 5% of Democrats.

Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Adds Co-op Mode

Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Adds Co-op Mode

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is still flourishing and growing, proving that innovative competitive multiplayer gameplay can grow and succeed without pay-to-win microtransactions or real-money loot boxes. Are you paying attention, Activision and Electronic Arts?

During the Rainbow Six Pro League season 3 finals this weekend, Ubisoft used the event to fully unveil the new operators and map coming as the final expansion of Rainbow Six Siege year 2, Operation White Noise, while also announcing Year 3 plans which – for the first time since launch – adds a new (temporary?) mode…

First, finishing of year 2, Ubisoft is making good on having delayed content for a full six months earlier in the year when they pushed back one of the planned content drops to focus on “Operation Health” with the goal of improving the quality of the game itself to safeguard it’s long-term future. Due to that delay, players got one less new map in 2017 and it meant the Year 2 Season 3 (Operation Blood Orchid) DLC included not two, but three operators, and the same is happening for the Year 2 Season 4 drop, Operation White Noise which adds the second Polish operator (Zofia), and a pair of all-new South Korean operators which are detailed in the video up top. They add some of the most innovative and game-changing abilities the game has seen to date. And the same goes for the skyscraper-set map.

Operation White Noise Release Date and Details

Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation White Noise goes live on technical test servers tomorrow, November 20, 2017, with a full release date expected in December.

In Operation White Noise, two 707th Special Mission Battalion Operators scale the snow-capped Mok Myeok Tower to lead a rescue mission in Seoul, South Korea. The modern communications and observation tower offers fresh vertical vantage points overlooking the entire cityscape, and sets the stage for diverse multilevel tactics.

1. Dokkaebi (real name: Grace Nam) is an attack operator equipped with a Mk 14 EBR Marksman Rifle and BOSG 12.2 shotgun as primary weapons, with a C75 Auto and SMG-12 Machine Pistols as secondary options. Her unique ability is interesting, and almost too goofy for the game at a glance. She can hack the defending team’s phones which will make them ring continuously until they hold down a button to turn it off. It gives their position away until they do so.

That’s not all though. Dokkaebi can also hack the phone of a killed enemy to give all of her teammates access to all of the defending team’s cameras (including Valkyrie’s Black Eye cams). That means, teams of communicating players may not be so quick to automatically shoot all the cameras down.

2. Vigil is the defending South Korean 707th operator who has the ability to render himself invisible to cameras and drones for up to 20 seconds. The ability works similar to Caveira’s with a cooldown. He still can be countered by Thatcher’s EMP grenades, Jackal’s footprint detector, and IQ’s detector screen though.

Vigil’s weapons include K1A Submachine Gun and the BOSG.12.2 Shotgun, with the same secondaries as Dokkaebi (C75 and SMG-12). Gadgets include barbed wire or impact grenades.

3. The third operator is the second Polish operator and the sister to the first, Ela. The new operator, an attacker, is named Zofia Bosak and she utilizes a doubled-barrelled grenade launch which features explosive and concussion shots and who doesn’t require reloads.

Operation White Noise also comes with all-new pistol animations to make it a more formidable weapon, new UI indicators for operations, new grenade mechanics, server improvements and a ton of bug fixes that are detailed by Ubisoft here.

Year 3 Plans For Rainbow Six Siege

Year 3 will be structured into four Seasons, similar to the first two years, and includes:

  • 8 new operators from the world’s highly performing CTUs.
  • 2 brand new maps set in Italy and Morocco
  • 1 existent map make over with a new level design and art direction

Year 3 will kick off with Operation Chimera which adds two operators who are specialists in biohazard situations. They’renot only playable in adversarial multiplayer like the rest of the ops but during four weeks they will have to face a major threat in what will be the game’s first co-op event ever, named Outbreak. This event will be playable during four weeks for free for Rainbow Six Siege owners. It will also feature an exclusive collection of cosmetics, available only during the time of the event. We followed up with Ubisoft to see if this mode is only available for the four weeks or if it becomes a paid-for expansion after and were told that it will “only be available” for that 4-week window. More details on Outbreak are coming soon.

Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Outbreak Coop Teaser Art

The full reveal of Operation Chimera and Outbreak will take place in Montreal at the Six Invitational 2018. More information on Year 3 will be coming soon.

That teaser image above for Outbreak, and judging by its name and Operation Chimera’s new operators being “specialists in biohazard situations” this could be some undead/zombie related co-op experience but we really hope it isn’t. Call of Duty has run zombie co-op into the ground. Be different, Ubisoft! Then again, “Chimera” refers to the a fire-breathing female with a lion’s head, a goat’s body, and a serpent’s tail who who knows.

Inspired by real-world counter-terrorist organizations, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege puts players in the middle of lethal close-quarter confrontations. For the first time in a Rainbow Six game, players will engage in sieges, a new style of assault where enemies have the means to transform their environments into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy’s position. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege gives players unprecedented control over their ability to fortify their position by reinforcing walls and floors, using barbed wire and deployable shields, laying mines and more, or to breach the enemies’ position using observation drones, setting charges, rappelling and more. The fast pace and uniqueness of each siege sets a new bar for intense firefights, strategic gameplay and competitive gaming.

Battlefront 2 Can’t Top Sales In First Week

Battlefront 2 Can’t Top Sales In First Week

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has failed to top the UK boxed sales chart in its first week of release, as the game’s launch continues to be troubled. The game’s expensive loot box scheme, paired with a questionable progression system, resulted in a situation where it would take 4,528 hours of gameplay or $2,100 to unlock all the content.

Even in trying to resolve the problem, EA has incurred a significant backlash. The company’s response to complaints on Reddit quickly became the site’s most downvoted post ever. EA also turned off all in-game microtransactions, but it’s still easy to argue that Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has a pay-to-win problem. Reports have suggested that Disney has stepped in to try and resolve EA’s ongoing PR nightmare.

EA had already been feeling the consequences of this poor launch, with the negativity around Battlefront 2 hurting the company’s stock prices. Now, some significant evidence has emerged to suggest that sales of the game are coming in lower than expected as well. has shared the UK boxed sales chart for Battlefront’s week of release, revealing that EA’s major new title failed to reach the top spot:

  1. Call of Duty: WWII (new entry)
  2. Star Wars Battlefront II (new entry)
  3. FIFA 18
  4. Pokémon Ultra Sun (new entry)
  5. Pokémon Ultra Moon (new entry)
  6. Assassin’s Creed Origins
  7. The Sims 4 (new entry)
  8. LA Noire Remastered (new entry)
  9. Super Mario Odyssey
  10. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 (new entry)

Battlefront 2 did pick a tough launch week with lots of competition, but EA still would have wanted that top place in the league table. Crunching the numbers further, found that these launch-week sales are down 61% compared to 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront and down 50% compared to EA’s shooter launch from last year, Battlefield 1. A lot of players would have avoided physical purchases and bought the game digitally, of course, but these are still not happy figures for EA.

However, you could argue that Battlefront 2 will have a longer shelf life than a lot of games. When Star Wars: The Last Jedi inevitably dominates the global cinematic box office in December, there is bound to be a renewed interest in the newest Star Wars game. Christmas could help, too, as people outside of the online discourse might be tempted to purchase the game for their kids. Nonetheless, EA execs will not be looking fondly at their spread-sheets today.

Stay tuned to Screen Rant for all the latest Star Wars: Battlefront 2 news.

Kathy Griffin Claims Andy Cohen Offered Her Cocaine Before WWHL

Riot Housewives

Kathy Griffin released a new YouTube video on Saturday in which she whines about being out of work and blacklisted by Hollywood following her slamming President Trump and TV host Andy Cohen.

“This wall of crap has never fallen on any woman in the history of America the way it has on me,” she complained.

In the video, titled “State of the Union,” the comedian, looking anxious in a white tee shirt, spoke into the camera on Nov. 18, telling fans she was on a world tour but wanted to let them know, “I’m getting a lot of online hate from trolls who think I lost my mind.”

Griffin joked that losing her mind had made her a star in the first place, and confided, “At 57, I don’t have a lot of time to be patient” about career matters.

“Don’t be too hard on me. I’m fully in the middle of a Hollywood blacklist,” she said.

Griffin was embroiled in scandal after her tasteless President Donald Trump bloody mask photos shocked America , and she later attacked Watch What Happens Live host and Bravo executive Andy Cohen in a shocking You Tube video.

The comedian claimed that Cohen, who replaced her on CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast with Anderson Cooper, offered her cocaine—twice!—before her two appearances on WWHL.

Cohen vehemently denied Griffin’s allegations.

Griffin stated on her new video about the alleged blacklist, “It is real. I’m not booked on any talk shows.”

She said she’d been selling tickets worldwide and is currently performing in Austria, but it’s been tough as she has no TV platform.

“I just want you guys to know, when I get home, I do not have one single day of work in front of me,” Griffin moaned. “And people that want me to go back and start in [comedy] clubs and do ten minutes again, I don’t mean to be an a**hole, but no. I’m not going to do that. I’ve worked way too hard to go back and work for free and do the club scene again…this is the bulls***, because I’ve been blacklisted.”

Griffin then complained that TV legend Norman Lear sent her fundraising letters and he can’t ask her for money anymore because “my legal bills are through the roof….”

The funnygal said she hoped disenfranchised people would get inspiration from her struggle.

Griffin was hopeful after her gig in Austria, but said forces were coming against her and as an aside, referred to the Harvey Weinstein scandal and feminism in her video.

“I’m not going to lie. It’s going to be hard when I go home” to the U.S., she said.

“I think I should be able to get my life back,” Griffin said, conceding she had offended many with her bloody Trump mask stunt.
