Ex-Speaker John Boehner Claims There Are Nazis Serving In Congress Info
In an interview with Politico, former Speaker of the House John Boehner claims that there are Nazis working inside the U.S. But not just anywhere in the U.S.; Boehner admits that they’re working for the people, right inside of Congress.
“We’ve got some of the smartest people in America who serve in the Congress, and we’ve got some of the dumbest,” Boehner said. “We have some of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet, and some that are Nazis”.
Boehner didn’t go into a lot of detail about specifically who he believes are Nazis. He did, however, say that Congress is “nothing more than a slice of America.”
All of that said, Boehner (sort of) defended Pres. Donald Trump, saying that Trump is a “populist” who probably isn’t a racist, but that Trump doesn’t have “an ideological bone in his body.”
“I do not believe that he is a racist. I do not believe that he is a white supremacist. He has clearly done some things to lead people who never liked him to say those things about him.”
Yes, he has. These ideas the American people got about Trump’s attitudes towards people who aren’t Caucasian didn’t just come up out of the air.
Boehner resigned as Speaker shortly after a visit with Pope Francis, during which the Pope strongly denounced American political practices, leaving Boehner—a devout Catholic—in tears.
Politico says that the former Speaker “feels liberated” since leaving office but is “seething” about what happened to the Grand Old Party.
Yeah, the entire country could have done without a lot of the changes, too. And we thought things were bad when Boehner was running the House of Representatives. We feel his pain.
