Kellyanne Conway’s Marriage May Be On The Rocks And It’s All Trump’s Fault
Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway is not a fan of Donald Trump. He has often tweeted criticisms of Trump, all while his wife is lying through her teeth on national television every chance she gets, and defending the indefensible when it comes to Trump’s behavior. Well, Kellyanne might regret her actions soon, because it seems that her marriage to George may be suffering while she continues to work for Trump.
Speaking with Ben Terris of the Washington Post, Kellyanne Conway said:
“I feel there’s a part of him that thinks I chose Donald Trump over him. Which is ridiculous. One is my work and one is my marriage.”
Of course, whether or not that attitude becomes an even bigger problem in their marriage remains to be seen. George Conway has been not only tweeting, but writing op-eds, one of which actually defends Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation against the attacks of Trump, the White House, and the deplorables. As far as her husband’s open dragging of Trump in public goes, Kellyanne Conway is none to pleased; in fact she says she finds it “disrespectful”:
“I think it’s disrespectful. think it disrespects his wife.”
After apparently realizing she may have gone too far, Kellyanne simply said, “people see it that way,” and went on to say:
“I’ve never actually said what I think about it and I won’t say what I think about it, which tells you what I think about it.”
As for George Conway? He’s not backing down. He has made his contempt for Trump clear, and he won’t be shutting up anytime soon. Regarding his wife’s remarks, George Conway said:
“If there’s an issue, it’s because she’s in that job, for that man. If my wife were the counselor to the CEO of Pepsi and I had a problem with her boss, I would simply drink my Coke and keep my mouth shut. If the president were simply mediocre or even bad, I’d have nothing to say. This is much different.”
That statement right there makes it clear: There is trouble in paradise in the Conway household, and it’s all down to Donald Trump. At least now we know which one of these people has the more stand-up character in that union. My advice to George Conway? Have divorce papers delivered to his wife’s office in the West Wing. End the nightmare.
